Martha Yarborough died on July 16, 2021. She was the wife of Willie Yarborough.
Delores Antwanette Pulliam died on August 29, 2021 at the age of 44. She leaves to cherish her loving memory her husband, Daniel Pulliam, Jr. of Boydton, VA; two sons, Raymon Wright of Henderson, NC and Kyree Pulliam of Boydton, VA; two daughters, Emonee Glover of Fayetteville, NC and Ashley Pulliam of Boydton, VA; five grandchildren; her parents, Charlie Hargrove of Wilmington, NC and Patricia Mayo of Henderson, NC.
Verdie Rene Davis died on January 11, 2021 at the age of 85. She was born in Vance County to Moses and Verdie Yarborough Davis. Survivors include her children: Portia Alston, John Howard, Jr., Mary Alston, Mary Anderson, Arnold Howard, Rene' Bolton, Leon Howard and Mark Howard; a special nephew Edward Yarborough; sister, Lucille Grimes; 18 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
Ferebee Yarborough died on May 13, 2021 at the age of 81. She was born in Middleburg, North Carolina to James F. & Addie Reid Yarborough. Survivors include her children: Fredrick, Floria, Franklin and Felix; 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and siblings; 8 sisters: Dedis Y. Bailey, Nellie Yarborough, Mary Y. Yancey, Harriett Y. Bullock, Juanita Y. Reid, Laverne Y. Bullock, Eunice Y. Allen and Peggy Yarborough; 3 brothers; James Yarborough, Sr., George Yarborough and June Yarborough.
Xavier Antwan Vann died on August 6, 2021 at the age of 48. He was born in Durham County to Jacqueline Vann and Thurman Boyd. Survivors include his children, Ashley Boone, Brianna Vann, and Xavier Vann Jr.; his mother, Jacqueline Vann; his siblings, Kelia V. Alexander, Atoyas V. Arrington, Natekia Vann and Jacqueline Campbell; 5 Aunts and 6 Uncles.
Tina Ridgely of Martinsburg, WV, died on January 3, 2022. She was the daughter of Johann Yarborough and granddaughter of Albert Carl and Rosie Yarborough. She is survived by a sister Andrea Yarborough and two daughters Jennifer and Jessica.
Melvin Torre Howard Sr. passed away on December 21, 2021 at the age of 46. He was born in Albany, New York to Mary Howard Alston and the late Gary Evans. Survivors include his companion of many years, Lakesha Somerville; his children, Melvin Howard Jr. Jaimelvin Hunt, and Malayjia Howard; his mother, Mary Howard Alston; his sister Brandi Alston; 1 Grandchild , 5 Uncles and 4 Aunts.
Cynthia B. Yarborough passed away on November 12, 2019. She was born to the late Samuel and Dorothy Yarborough. She is survived by her sister, Peggie J. Brown, her best friend Joyce Richardson, and a host of nieces and nephews.
